Guesting on DZUP’s Quadro Kantos

It’s Halloween Month, and of course we’re bringing out all the skeletons in our closets. Boo!

We’ll feature writer and columnist Yvette Tan, Waking the Dead (Anvil), Palanca awardees and kick-ass musicians Waps San Diego and Easy Fagela, and photographer, poet, and front woman of the Goth band The Late Isabel, Wawi Navarozza.

If you want to know more about Horror Stories in Philippine Literature, and Horror Movies in Philippine Cinema – the lovely Yvette Tan will enlighten you on October 4. Poet Waps San Diego will explain what he means by “Mixtapes for the Afterlife” (excerpts to be posted on this website one week before his episode) and songs that have soul on October 11. The brilliant and beautiful Wawi Navarozza will debunk our preconceived notions about Gothic Subculture, localize it in the Philippine context, and talk about the poetry that fuels her (he)art and music on October 18. Finally, on October 25, writer Easy Fagela shall tell us what music he thinks we should listen to during the Next Great Zombie Apocalypse!
